Haworth Hodgkinson

Haworth Hodgkinson is a poet and playwright, composer and improvising musician, born in Lancashire and based in the North-East of Scotland for many years.

A Weakness for Mermaids

A Weakness for Mermaids, his first poetry collection, was published by Koo Press in 2007 and reprinted in 2011.

His poetry is also widely published in magazines and anthologies.

He performs with the multimedia poetry group the Blue Salt Collective and the theatre company Wordfringe Festival Players, and he is the Founder and Director of the New Words festival of new writing in Aberdeen and North-East Scotland, and its parent organisation North East Writers.
